Challenge
Their biggest challenge was to address the skill gap issues faced by the Indian Power Sector in terms of adaptation to Online Learning with a deep focus on Safety, Health & Environment. Our Client wanted to provide greater access to its courses to the members of disadvantaged sections of our society and those in the below-poverty-line (BPL) category by facilitating access on mobile phones. Another challenge our client encountered was with regards to compatibility and completion tracking of the SCORM content they had developed.
Solution
In Dec 2018 our team provided the client with AlphaLearn’s SCORM compliant LMS platform. This helped the client impart online training to underprivileged students of the society with ease. These skill development courses predominantly covered the basics of the energy and power sector. AlphaLearn’s cutting edge features met the client’s requirements of tracking the module progress of the trainees, their completions and assessment scores, etc. AlphaLearn’s certification feature, enabled the client to automate certificate issuance.
Result
After switching to AlphaLearn LMS, our client has received unequivocal response from their Trainees. The client’s management team and employees have found AlphaLearn LMS to be extremely helpful with the on-boarding and delivery of SCORM courses. AlphaLearn LMS has helped our client save 22% per year in operational costs. Our client has analysed that the trainee course completion rate has gone up by close to 40% after migrating to AlphaLearn LMS. The certificate of completion that is awarded after a trainee scores 75% at the end of a module assessment has acted as a great incentive for their trainees.
