Single Subject vs. Multiple Subject Courses

When creating a course in AlphaLearn LMS, you have the option to choose between a single subject or multiple subject course type. Here’s a breakdown of the key differences:

Single Subject Course:

  • Contains one subject, which can include multiple modules or chapters.
  • Each module/chapter can feature a variety of learning materials, such as videos, PDFs, PPTs, SCORM packages, etc.
  • You can attach one exam for the entire course.
  • Offers a more straightforward and user-friendly navigation experience.
  • Recommended for courses or programs lasting six months or less.

Multiple Subject Course:

  • Comprises multiple subjects, with each subject containing its own modules or chapters.
  • Each module/chapter can incorporate various types of learning materials, including videos, PDFs, PPTs, SCORM packages, etc.
  • You can attach one exam per subject.
  • Best suited for courses or programs that exceed six months in duration.

By understanding these differences, you can choose the course type that best fits your educational goals and duration.
